Redback Shocks

Redback Coil Over/Airshock hybrids give you the best feature of both Air Shocks and Coil Overs in one package, making it a high performance but easy to setup suspension solution.

In a typical air shock setup the air shock not only provides dampening, it also supports the weight of the vehicle.

A coil over shock uses the coils to support the weight of the vehicle and the shock to provide dampening. It is very important in setting up a coil over shock to get the spring rates spot on. Many people go through a few sets of springs before they get their suspension dialled in properly.

A Coil Over/Air Shock Hybrid, uses the coils to primarily support the weight of the vehicle and the air shock to provide the dampening, but also if required also assist in supporting the weight of the vehicle. This has number of advantages :

• It is not as important to calculate the exact spring weight, as you can add nitrogen assist the spring rate. This is perfect for the DIY builder. Simply choose lighter spring weight coils and fine tune for the ultimate performance.
• The tunability allows you to easily reconfigure your vehicle for a variety of different race applications.

Redback Coil Over Airshocks are 100% Made in the USA. The body is machined out of 7075 Grade Aluminium and the shaft is ceramic coated. All seals are high temp and the shocks feature replaceable heims. These shocks are totally rebuildable and revalvable.

Redback Coil Over Airshocks are available in a variety of configurations including remote reservoir and internal reservoir.
